The first consultation is usually the longest and can take up to 1 hour and 30 mins. This is due to the mount of personal information needed to specifically make a diagnosis for the patient.
Towards the end of the first consultation another appointment is made usually for 3-4 weeks time. The second appointment can take up to 40 mins as it is vital to record how well the patient is responding to treatment and any other additional information is helpful to their case.
All information discussed regarding treatment is in strict confidence and will at not be discussed with anyone in or outside the clinic. Please be aware that in the event of holidays I may have to discuss recent patient notes and treatment with a selected qualified homeopath taking over the clinic whilst I’m away, however your permission will be asked before doing so.
Brief telephone appointments can be made to discuss ongoing treatment; these are not charged and can be arranged at the time of the consultation or by leaving a short telephone message.
Acute complaints such as colds and flu can be treated relatively quickly; a chronic complaint the patient has had for some time will need treatment and support over a longer period. An average treatment time varies by the mildness or severity of any case; every case is different to the individual. It is always advisable to complete ongoing treatments; this will help the body to establish its desired level of healing.
